Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital
The Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital is Australia's largest and busiest wildlife hospital, providing free veterinary care to thousands of injured, ill or orphaned animals each year, 24 hours a day/seven days a week. The hospital team is entirely dedicated to the treatment of native Australian wildlife and returning them fit and healthy back to their natural environment.
The Wildlife Hospital is a self-funded, charitable organisation that receives no ongoing government funding and relies solely on sponsorships and donations. Tea Time's sponsorship helps feed baby koalas with a lactose-free baby formula combined with their normal diet of eucalyptus. The koalas in care consume approximately 5 containers of formula per week, for an annual consumption of around 250 containers which equates to approximately $10,000 needed on an annual basis.
